Newcomers Lunches

Newcomers lunches are held over the year to provide a great opportunity for newcomers to get to know members of the leadership team and each other, and find out more about St. Matthew’s in a social and relaxed atmosphere. Check church diary for our next lunch.

Children and youth

Every Sunday we offer groups for all ages for our children and youth. Everyone comes together for worship and celebration in church for the first part of the service, and then our Sparklers (4 and under), Rockets (5-8 year olds), & Fire Crackers (9-11 year olds) leave to go to their groups; our youth (Secondary school age) stay in for a little longer to enjoy the worship, and leave for their group. We value all our children and youth, and want to see them know the Father’s love and plans for them, to be on fire for Jesus, and filled with Holy Spirit, so that more and more the supernatural becomes their norm as they embrace a kingdom lifestyle.

Women’s ministry

Through out the year, our women’s ministry team run a variety of activities and events, including outreach, as well as maintains and develop strong links with other churches. Please check the church diary for the next event.

Healing on the streets

Initiated by the founder, Mark Marx, Healing on the Streets (HOTS) was launched out of Causeway Coast Vineyard, Coleraine in Easter of 2005. Adopted by many churches the Healing on the Streets model is spreading around the world. It’s a gentle, non-confrontational way of connecting with people on the streets of our cities and introducing them to Jesus. In February 2009, alongside other churches in the island, we launched our Jersey Healing on the Streets, and since then thousands of people have been prayed for and many hundreds have experienced healing by the grace and love of God.
