What are life groups?
As a growing church, we want to ensure that everyone who joins the St Matthew’s family has a place to belong. Life Groups are groups that aim to encourage us towards Christian growth and provide opportunities for making a greater impact in our community.
Glass Café and Healing Room
Every Thursday, during term time from 10am – 12noon. Our aim is to provide a place where people, whether locals or visitors, can come to relax, chat and be revived. We have a selection of refreshments including home-made cakes at no charge, although donations are welcome. The opportunity for prayer, specifically for healing, is available as well. We look forward to welcoming you.
First Steps offers a special place for parents and toddlers to meet and play in an informal setting. Every Wednesday, during school term, between10:00am – 11:30am, First Steps is for all pre-school children and their parents or carers.
Each session offers a time of free play followed by singing and action songs, a time to listen, wake up Mr Bible, make some noise with musical instruments and ending with a healthy snack and drink (and hot drink and sweet treat for the grown ups!) The cost is only £1.50 per morning.
The Meeting Place
The Meeting Place meets 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month between 1:30 & 4:30pm for a light lunch and fellowship. It is a place to come and be loved and to have people care and show love and give support.
Everyone is welcome (under 18’s to be accompanied by parent/legal guardian)
Restoring The Foundation
The RTF Jersey Regional Centre is a place where people come to and from across the Island to experience freedom from anything that is hindering them from pursuing the dreams and destiny Father has given them for their lives. Every member of the team is committed to seeing people transformed and healed by the power of the Holy Spirit to accept their true identity as sons and daughters of Father God in a loving, non-judgemental, welcoming and safe environment.
This healing journey is a course, spread over 5 weekends, that will change your life, in every aspect, and provide you the opportunity to encounter and pursue restoration in its fullest.
